The Master's Degree Programme in Landscape Architecture does NOT require an admission test.

 

Admission Evaluation Procedure:

1. Check the application period for admission evaluation.

2. Consult the Teaching Regulations to verify the specific requirements of the degree programme and the language proficiency requirements.

3. Complete and submit the application for evaluation in the required manner and within the specified deadlines, then wait for the outcome of the assessment, which may be:

• Positive
• Positive with integration
• Negative

If positive: you can enrol (matriculate).

If positive with integration: you must fulfil the assigned curricular integrations and resubmit the application for evaluation.

If negative: you cannot enrol.

 

To enrol, it is necessary to:

1. request approval by submitting the form “Application for Evaluation”
   
   • international students must attach a portfolio, transcript of records, and course syllabi/programmes;
2. verify admission requirements: consult the course catalogue page, select the academic year of interest, choose the study programme, and click on “Teaching Regulations” on the right-hand side. Finally, scroll through the Teaching Regulations to the section “Admission Requirements for Study Programmes”.

3. List of courses – Teaching Regulations – Research courses

 

Students coming from other universities or graduates for more than 18 months from the University of Florence, who must take the language test for admission to the Master’s Degree in Architecture, may register with Centro Linguistico di Ateneo (CLA).

Students who need to take the B2-level language test for admission to the Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture must hold the CLA laboratory card.

For students coming from other universities or graduates for more than 18 months from the University of Florence, a “future UniFI student” account has been created to allow payment of the enrolment fee, equal to €24 per year, required for our students.

 

Registration for CLA laboratories can be completed:

• at the administrative offices
• online for students of the University of Florence

 

It is necessary to specify that the test is required for admission to the Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture and to request booking of the B2 test.
In case of failure, students may retake the test after one month.

Applications submitted without this requirement may still be sent but will remain pending until the certificate is provided.

1. Complete the application for evaluation with:
   • exact titles of all examinations
   • SSD (Scientific Disciplinary Sector – e.g. ICAR/14)
   • CFU
   • exam date
   • grade (out of 30)

2. Upload it to the online system following the instructions available at the following link:

The application will be reviewed by the Teaching Committee, which will communicate the outcome by email.

3. After obtaining the approval (“nulla osta”), the student may submit the enrolment application via the Sol-Studenti portal.

There are no deadlines for submitting the application for evaluation, except those related to the issuance of the approval required for enrolment.
